Career Fair Kick-Off Meeting
Come join us on Thursday, March 14th 11:30am - 1:00pm at Medaille College
to hear all about TAG’s upcoming Career Fair.
For anyone who has ever expressed interest in giving back to TAG, this is your opportunity. By volunteering your time with the planning & organization of the upcoming Career Fair, you become instrumental in helping others get back to work.
Whether you’re employed or unemployed, you can help! What a fantastic way to not only network, but to give back to both the Rochester community and to the many people who volunteer their time each week in keeping The August Group Rochester’s premier volunteer networking organization,
In collaboration with MCC, (www.monroecc.edu/workforce
), TAG will present their 15th Career Fair and Networking event on Thursday, June 6th from 2:00 – 5:00 p.m. in the Warshof Conference Center, R. Thomas Flynn Campus Center on MCC’s Brighton Campus, 1000 East Henrietta Road.
The event is free and open to the public. It connects those seeking employment or a career change with hiring managers in business, technical and professional fields that have open positions. The Career Fair is hosted and produced by TAG and is sponsored by MCC’s Office of Workforce Development, Senator Joseph E. Robach, Time Warner Cable, the Angelo Planning Group and RochesterWorks!
The August Group is much more than Rochester’s premier face-to-face networking group. It is about taking personal responsibility in making your next opportunity happen. By spearheading two fairs each year, The August Group members are doing exactly that. In the past two years we have helped over 1,000 members get back to work and we plan to exceed that number this year.
The Career Fair brings the community and businesses together with the common goal of enriching the economy by developing productive relationships. Some of the companies that participated in the previous Career Fair’s include Wegmans, Time Warner Cable, Corning Inc., ER Associates, Rochester Professional Consultants Network (RCPN), City of Rochester, Entre Computer Services, Iberdrola, Roberts Wesleyan College, Sutherland Global Services, U of R, Visiting Nurse Services, Ignite and Yoh Talent Solutions.
If you cannot make the meeting yet would like to be a volunteer, please email
This is open to everyone so no registration is required.
