Do you fret meeting new people? Are you in a position where you need to
network to find another position but lack confidence, don’t know how or
where to begin? Come learn about “Human Networking”, a basic method of
networking, developed and presented by Lance Dumigan. His method of
networking is based on his personal networking experience combined with
over 20 years in sales, marketing, and recruiting.
Networking topics to be covered include:
• How to reach outside your immediate circle of friends, associates and
• Suggested approach to organizing your circle of friends, associates and
family into a functional list of networking meetings.
• Suggested set of tools and techniques for acquiring, running and closing short and effective meetings
• Tools on prioritizing networking meetings and organizing, preparing and
executing the meeting plan.

Lance, a resident of Rochester for over 20 years, holds a
Bachelor’s of Science in Electrical Engineering. He held jobs in Sales,
Product and Market Development, and Sales Engineering. Of the last six
jobs he had, five of them were acquired through networking. Prior to
this, Lance was a Navy pilot for 15 years.
If you are a recent college graduate, a few years from retirement,
or any place in between you will learn a lot in this workshop. Employed
or unemployed, bring a friend or family member. This event is free of
