How to Change a Culture to Continous Improvement
A Case Study from Carestream Health - April 22nd (8:00-10:30 a.m.)
Hosted by the Greater Rochester Quality Council (GRQC)
Steve Eckert, Dental Media Flow and Operations Manager at the Dental Film Finishing Department of Carestream Health will discuss how he's changed the culture to embrace problems as improvement opportunities and move from a reactive culture to a pro-active culture. These changes in mindset have fueled drastic improvements in safety, quality, delivery, equipment efficiency and operational waste. In 2009, this unit earned the Shingo Silver Medallion for Operational Excellence.
