Four years ago, Eyes on the Future sparked a new conversation in the Rochester Region. It established a public forum that simply showcased “what works.” The summit’s pragmatic and positive approach signaled a fresh departure from the tired old chatter of cynics and skeptics, focusing instead on the numerous strengths of the nine-county area.
Greater Rochester Enterprise and the Small Business Council of Rochester, an affiliate of Rochester Business Alliance, are pleased to announce that Eyes on the Future 2011, a regional economic summit, will return to Saint John Fisher College on Friday, May 20, 2011.
Eyes on the Future 2011 will reinforce the region’s ability to collaborate, innovate and sustainably grow. A panel of national experts in education, business, policy, economic development and entrepreneurship will offer a wide range of perspectives on the strategic steps that move businesses forward and strengthen the Rochester Region’s competitiveness.
The summit will also help individuals and organizations better manage constant change through identifying new opportunities. Eyes on the Future 2011 and Eyes Expo, a business networking event, will highlight the role that the individual plays in generating a lasting culture of success and prosperity throughout the community.
Attendees will leave Eyes on the Future 2011 with a sense of pride, purpose, and a commitment to individual education, personal leadership and community engagement.
